The Supertree Grove

By far, the most impressive Instagrammable place in Singapore is Supertree Grove. It consists of 18 artificial trees which stand between 25m to 60m tall. Aside from their remarkable appearance, the trees are designed to mimic the functions of a typical tree. Solar panels collect light to power the magical light show that takes place here in the evening, while the structure of the trees collects rainwater. This is used to maintain the plants within Gardens by the Bay, but it also helps make the museum toilet facilities located here wholly sustainable.

If there is only one place you visit to take photos, it has to be Supertree Grove!

The Flower Dome

Situated at the marvelous Gardens by the Bay, the Flower Dome is a sight not to be missed. With nine gardens featuring fauna from all around the world, this greenhouse is the largest of its kind. Here you will find impressive exotic exhibits from Australia, South Africa, and South America, to name a few. Quirky designs, vibrant colors, and incredible architecture make the Flower Dome one of the great Instagrammable places in Singapore.

The Cloud Forest

Adjacent to the Flower Dome sits another one of Singapore’s most popular tourist spots. The Cloud Forest replicates a tropical rainforest typically found in Southeast Asia and Central America. The main feature is the incredible waterfall which is 42m high, with each layer representing a different part of a rainforest canopy.

Make sure you have your camera on hand at all times because this place is a photo hotspot. Some of the other Instagrammable places in Singapore include the beautiful wall of flowers near the start of the Cloud Forest, the base of the waterfalls itself, and the bridge connected to the canopy.

OCBC Skyway

The OCBC Skyway is a 128m long walkway connecting two of the Supertrees within Gardens by the Bay. From the skyway, the luxurious Marina Bay Sands can be seen in all its glory, along with the rest of Singapore’s incredible skyline.

Walking along the OCBC Skyway is one of the most popular things to do in Singapore, and it isn’t hard to see why! The view of Gardens by the Bay and Supertree Grove is incredible, making it the perfect place to get photographs.

The Artscience Museum

Found in Marina Bay, the Artscience Museum is an ideal site to visit if you are looking for unique photos. This museum was one of the first to combine art, science, technology, and culture creating fascinating exhibits for some pretty incredible Instagrammable places in Singapore.

One of the most popular exhibits here is the Future World exhibit known for the crystal universe. This installation creates the illusion of stars moving in space, so it is a scene perfect for any Instagram profile.

Singapore Zoo

Singapore Zoo is one of Singapore’s most Instagrammable spots, especially if you are an animal lover! This zoo is unlike any other, and if you want some incredible photos, then this is the place.

Singapore Zoo allows you to feed animals such as rhinos, giraffes, and elephants. This experience costs 5 SGD, and all the proceeds go towards wildlife conservation efforts – a great way to get those Instagram shots while doing something good with your money.

This zoo also has open-air exhibits, allowing certain animals to roam around you (and above you in the trees), such as orangutans! You can even take a walk through the Australian exhibit and have Kangaroos hop past you.

Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands is the most luxurious hotel in Singapore. The $8 billion stupendous hotel has three towers connected at the top via a large and rather luxurious pool and lounging area. The view from the top is mind-blowing and something you don’t want to miss out on!

The hotel lets tourists pay to spend time in the pool area, meaning photo buffs can easily access the rooftop without having to worry about forking out for an expensive room for the night.

If you are after some more unique shots of Marina Bay Sands, take your camera up the OCBC Skyway. You can get some fantastic photos of this beautiful hotel from this viewpoint!

The Merlion Statue

There isn’t too much to say about the Merlion Statue, other than it simply has to be on your Singapore itinerary! The Merlion Statue is a national symbol of Singapore, making this statue one of the most iconic landmarks.

The half lion-half fish mythical creature sits on Marina Bay’s water, overlooking Marina Bay Sands and beyond. The Merlion Statue is also a pretty cool water fountain and is a popular spot for travelers wanting to get some quirky photos.

Photo tips:

When taking photos in Singapore, it is best to wake up early and head to the most popular spots. Many of these places are packed with people by the afternoon, making it nearly impossible to get the perfect shot you are after. If you are an early bird, then taking photographs at golden hour is even better!

One more thing to note is that some attractions on this list don’t allow you to take in tripods, so it is best to double-check before your visit.

If you plan a trip to Singapore, then make sure you always have your camera or phone at hand! Not only is this city a pleasure to photograph, but there are plenty of incredible Instagram places to visit and things to do. If Singapore isn’t on your bucket list already, then it needs to be!
