Where to stay in Budapest – a story of two cities

Before you book accommodation, you need to understand the general layout of the city. Budapest used to be two separate cities back in the day – Buda and Pest. It was in 1873 when these two cities merged and created the current capital of Hungary.

The city is divided into Buda and Pest sides. Both of them are different from each other. For instance, Buda is laidback, calm, and green, while Pest is energetic, vibrant, and dynamic, which keeps things very interesting.
