Tbilisi is getting popular among digital nomads and freelancers, as citizens of around 90 countries can stay in Georgia visa-free for a year. Moreover, the government started to issue Digital Nomad visas as a result of the COVID pandemic to attract more foreigners to the country (More about this in upcoming posts). So if you are looking for a quiet office space to work from, here is the list of co-working spaces in Tbilisi I personally tried and tested.

Freedom Square
Regus Freedom Square
Regus is an international chain providing serviced offices, co-working spaces, business lounges, and conference facilities. Their Freedom Square branch (accessible from 2 Leonidze str.) offers a quiet space in an elegantly designed venue with comfortable furniture. Besides, it’s a great location for business set up purposes, in which the friendly staff of Regus is happy to help out.
The co-working space here is a common room with a good number of tables to work from. There are lockers you can use if you need to store something while leaving for a lunch or a meeting. The area also has a shared kitchen with a good quality coffee machine, fridge, vending machine, and a small box of snacks provided in the morning to nibble on while you enjoy a cup of coffee/tea.

However, if you require a designated space with storage and a personal desk, they can provide that too.
Hourly | Daily | Monthly | Membership |
---|---|---|---|
from $7 | starting at $29 | from $189 | starting at $69 |
You will know the exact price before coming to the venue.
The difference between monthly and membership packages is that, on a monthly basis, you can use the space 24/7. Membership holders can only use it when the reception is there, from 9 am to 6 pm. Moreover, monthly packages be it for co-working or office spaces, grants you a Golden Card to use at any co-working space of Regus, counting around 3,000 venues all over the world. And if you are a business traveler, one more benefit of the monthly package is that you can use special lounges at various airports. Regus works on a contract basis and the longer the contract is, the cheaper it can be.
Additionally, every last Friday of the month, they organize a casual networking event for all its members and office renters if you’d like to meet expats or digital nomads.

Apart from shared desks, fixed tables, and meeting/conference rooms, Terminal on Khorava has a terrace to enjoy a small break or a lunch. Additionally, there is a bar to order freshly brewed coffee or buy various soft drinks. There is a small fridge to store your lunch, a microwave, and a coffee machine in the small studio-like kitchen.
Impact Hub also has private lockers if you need to store something, but this is only available for certain package memberships. Despite the fact that it’s an open space, everyone is mindful of a working atmosphere, so there rarely is a noise.

Located on the territory of Dinamo Stadium, Makers Co-working offers a shared working space for those who are living closeby. Space has two floors with plenty of space to work from, a conference/meeting room, a shared kitchen on the second floor, and a relaxing/gaming area.
The second floor has several long shared desks to sit at that are divided into sub-spaces for a bit of tranquility and privacy. The kitchen has a coffee machine with decent, strong coffee to choose from, a microwave, a fridge, a TV, and necessary utensils to use.

Located in the residential complex Jikia House, Space Z is a big open space co-working in Tbilisi well-lit by direct sunlight. However, the owner lives nearby and is there in a couple of minutes once you text him on their Facebook page.

Besides a shared space to work from, Space Z also has a fixed area to rent on a shared desk, meeting rooms for those who often have video calls, a conference room, and private offices. The venue also has one laptop in case anyone needs it.

Additionally, there is outdoor pallet furniture if you’d like to work from outside. The shared kitchen has a refrigerator, a decent coffee machine (costing 1 GEL per cup), a microwave, and a kettle for tea/coffee. You are welcome to bring your own though.
Unlike many other co-working spaces in Tbilisi, Space Z has lots of things to do during your break time, including playing a mini-golf or board games, reading a book in the hammock, swinging on a swing (my favorite spot!), or browsing an in-house bookstore or a library of modern art books.
In addition, Space Z has a co-living space called Cybernetics only five minutes’ walk away. The co-living has a shared kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a shared living room with plenty of spaces to work from if you don’t want to visit Space Z, and private rooms for singles, couples, and families.

Besides the usual benefits such as shared and fixed desks, office spaces, several desktop computers to use, a kitchen, relaxing area, and lockers to name a few, Collective also offers high-quality printing services including a plotter printing machine. The shared kitchen has everything you might need to enjoy a lunch/breakfast or a freshly brewed coffee from the machine or a cup of tea.

Regus Vazha Pshavela
Regus Vazha Pshavela is the second branch of an international company Regus I mentioned the very first in this post. Designed in a modern and minimalist style, this co-working space has plenty of spaces to work from, comfortable and colorful chairs and armchairs that adds a charming touch to the area.
Dedicated desks do have cubicle-like short walls to ensure a bit of privacy. And its one conference/meeting room can accommodate around 12 people.

Like any other co-working spaces in Tbilisi, Regus Vazha Pshavela has a kitchen with good quality coffee from the machine, a refrigerator, microwave, and a separate fridge for soft drinks to buy for an additional cost. The space is lit by the direct sunlight creating a cozy environment. It also has lockers if you’d need to store something.

KD4US stands for King David For Us and refers to a shared co-working space in the relatively newly built King David Residential and Business Center. Located on the second floor of the building, KD4US is a spacious venue with a lot of cubicle-like desks with short walls giving a bit of privacy.

Similar to other places, KD4US also has a conference and meeting rooms, as well as office space to rent. There are several lockers for storage and a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, kettle, and microwave to hit up your snack or lunch. There’s a buffet-style KD Cafe next door if you don’t want to bring your own lunch. Whenever you get tired and need a break, there’s a small relaxing lounge with puff chairs, sofa, and a view of Tbilisi.
Like other co-working spaces in Tbilisi, this one also offers dedicated or non-assigned desks to its members in different price ranges. With comfortable chairs and big windows that lit up the area, KD4US is a good venue for those who are looking for mid-range packages, flexibility in schedule, and space. It’s also great for companies or startups with few staff members. In addition, they offer discounted prices for students.

Work from Georgia – various co-working spaces in Tbilisi as part of a project
Work from Georgia is a project coined by a Tbilisi-based creative agency Betterfly DDB. It involves various businesses all over the country opening their doors and spaces to digital nomads and freelancers to work from their offices FREE of charge.
In order to use the service, you need to go on their website, choose a destination city and dates you’d like to work on. The platform will show all the available spots from the participating businesses you can book a desk at for those dates.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID pandemic, the Work From Georgia has suspended hosting. Hopefully, they will be live again.
Libraries in Tbilisi to work from
If you are not a fan of co-working spaces or your budget doesn’t let you buy the membership, working from libraries is always a great option. I used to work from them for some time and they are a great alternative for budget-friendly digital nomads.
Mediatheka
Mediatheka is a cultural and educational platform offering an extensive library of modern and classical books in both Georgian and English languages, a quiet workspace, and computers to use. However, as I have noticed, they had quite limited English language books when I used to go there.
Currently, there are three branches of Metiatheka – one in Vake Park, second in Varketili, and the third in Nadzaladevi.
Mediatheka has two types of memberships which is valid in all of its branches.
Price | Duration | Book service | Included | Bicycle use | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Card A | 15 GEL | 3 months | 10 day rental with one time to postpone | working space, computer | — |
Card B | 20 GEL | 1 month | 10 day rental with one time to postpone for 5 days | working space, computer, printer, scanner, coping of 10 pages | 30 minutes a day within the park area |
I have worked in Vake Park several times. As it’s a library, there are no shared facilities to enjoy a cup of coffee or your pre-packed lunch. They used to have a cafe upstairs, but it has been closed for some time now. I can’t say anything about the other branches though.
Also, as it was very close to the university, it was getting quite busy and noisy from time to time. I could still work with my headphones on, but it’s something to keep in mind.
Closed on Mondays and public holidays
Mikheil Saakashvili’s Presidential Library
This is another library to check out, especially if you want a space FREE of charge. Located in a very quiet neighborhood behind the University of Georgia, this library gets quite a few people despite its situation. Moreover, there are PLENTY of English language books in pretty much all the fields and subjects that might interest you.
Designed by a world famous architect Jurgen Mayer, where bookshelves in the reading room repeat the style of façade, making it one of the modern library buildings in town.
Closed on Sundays
